Father & Son of the Week: Los Cidrines… a Business, like its bread, that continues to rise


In 1978, Manuel Cidre and his brother has an idea… to create a bakery to serve Puerto Rico’s bread needs. The Arecibo facility along with its retail establishments continue to grow under the direction of its founder along with sons Manolo, 40, Mateo, 38, and Guillermo,33. A fourth son Pedro, 23 opted for a career in architecture. The new, creative business ideas keep flowing and promise an even more successful future.
